Rates & Insurance
Our rate is $170 per 50-minute individual counselling session with a Canadian Certified Counsellor and $180 per 50-minute couples/family/co-parent counselling session with a Canadian Certified Counsellor.
We accept all major credit cards, electronic funds transfers or debit card payments.
We can provide you with a detailed invoice to send to your insurance provider for reimbursement, depending on your specific plan.
Depending on your plan, the following insurance companies may cover counselling sessions with a Canadian Certified Counsellor: Alberta Blue Cross, Green Shield, Manulife, Sun Life, Equitable Life of Canada, etc.
Coverage is not automatic and we encourage all perspective clients to confirm coverage with their provider and plan prior to booking.

At Nest Family Counselling, we understand that good mental health is an ongoing initiative.
Registration through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association allows Counsellors the freedom to offer Counselling services without a predetermined fee schedule. Current rates are designed to be affordable and to support ongoing care.
You do not need to receive a mental health diagnosis to receive care, allowing us to provide the most ethical, honest and accurate care.
You do not need to worry about being constrained to a session limit imposed by an insurance company or benefits plan, and you can continue counselling until you feel ready to discharge.
Your insurance company cannot use your mental health record to increase your insurance or deny you coverage in the future.
