Child Counselling

Child counselling is a therapeutic process that helps children understand and manage their emotions, behaviours, and life challenges. Through talk therapy and creative techniques, therapists support children in developing coping skills, improving self-esteem, and navigating issues like anxiety, trauma, family changes, or social difficulties. The goal is to foster emotional well-being and resilience.

Areas of focus that fall under the booking umbrella of Youth counselling include the following:

A Note on Attendance

Child counselling is reserved for clients ages 2-11 (youth counselling is ages 12-17).  An Initial Parent Meeting is required prior to booking the child client their first visit.  All returning visits can be booked online as a returning client.  1 guardian is required to attend the initial parent meeting.

We require a signature from both biological parents (or a court order indicating sole custody or guardianship) PRIOR to the child attending counselling.
