Relationship Counselling
Every relationship faces challenges—whether it’s communication breakdown, trust issues, conflict, or emotional distance. Our relationship counselling offers a supportive, neutral space for couples and individuals to explore their concerns, improve communication, and rebuild connection.

Areas of focus that fall under the booking umbrella of Relationship counselling include the following:

A Note on Attendance
Relationship counselling is most effective when all partners are actively involved, as the process is designed to support the relationship as a whole. For this reason, all parties are expected to attend each session together—unless the therapist specifically recommends individual sessions as part of the therapeutic process (such as in the Gottman Method or similar structured approaches).

If your partner is currently unwilling or unsure about attending, we encourage you to begin with individual counselling. This can provide a space to explore your concerns, clarify your goals, and receive support while navigating the challenges of an unengaged or hesitant partner.

Communication Concerns
Improve communication by creating a safe space to express needs and emotions, learn active listening skills, and practice healthier ways of resolving conflict. With support, couples can better understand one another, reduce misunderstandings, and strengthen their connection

Finances & Money Stress
Couples counselling provides a supportive space to address money-related stress by improving communication around financial goals, values, and concerns. Partners learn to navigate differences, reduce conflict, and work together toward healthier financial decision-making and shared stability

Physical Intimacy & Sex
Explore physical intimacy and sexual connection in a safe, respectful space. Through guided conversations, couples can explore barriers, improve communication about needs and desires, and work toward a more satisfying and fulfilling intimate relationship

Conflict Resolution
Couples counselling supports partners in navigating conflict more effectively by helping them identify underlying issues, communicate respectfully, and develop tools for managing disagreements. This process reduces tension, prevents recurring arguments, and fosters healthier problem-solving together

Life Transitions
Navigate major life transitions—such as parenthood, career changes, relocation, or retirement—by strengthening communication, adjusting expectations, and supporting one another through change. This process fosters resilience and helps couples adapt while staying connected

Trust & Infidelity
Rebuild trust after breaches such as infidelity or secrecy. It provides a safe space to explore feelings, improve communication, and develop strategies for accountability, understanding, and healing within the relationship

Emotional Intimacy
Build emotional intimacy by fostering openness, vulnerability, and trust. Through guided conversations, couples learn to share their inner experiences, better understand each other’s needs, and strengthen their sense of closeness and connection

Parenting & Family Dynamics
Gain support alongside parenting challenges and family dynamics by improving communication, aligning on values, and developing strategies for teamwork. It provides tools to manage stress, reduce conflict, and strengthen both the couple’s relationship and the family environment

Values & Future Goals
Explore values and financial goals by fostering open conversations about priorities, spending, and saving. This support encourages collaboration, reduces conflict, and helps couples make decisions that reflect shared vision and long-term stability
